- Tape, tie, or stand the piece where it will be seen.
What paper should I use?
- Cardstock is better for anything you cut, sign, or handle more than once.
- US Letter. On A4, choose Fit to page.
- Color looks best. Black and white still reads.

Questions about the Elf bookmarks
Is the Elf bookmarks free?
Yes. The Elf bookmarks is free to print at home in a boy elf version and a girl elf version. Elfie Spot Finder does not ask for an email or a signup. Print a copy for your family, and print another if the first one gets colored on.
What paper should I use for the Elf bookmarks?
Print the Elf bookmarks on US Letter. Cardstock is worth it because these get cut and handled. On A4, choose Fit to page so the trim lines stay on the sheet. Color is nicer, and black and white still works.
Can I add our elf's name?
Yes. The blank line is for the elf name you already use at home. Write it before you set the page out, or leave it for a kid to fill in the morning. The page does not assume a brand or a costume.
When should I use the Elf bookmarks?
Use the Elf bookmarks on a night you want the elf to leave something behind. It takes one print and a name. Pair it with a hiding spot you can set up in a couple of minutes, then go to bed.
