This kitchen idea makes your elf look helpful without creating a mess. Use clean dishes and keep the elf on the counter or edge of the rack. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't,start with the setup kit.
You Will Need:
- Your holiday elf
- Optional: mini plates if you want a tiny clean-plate stack already on the rack. Power stays off.
- Clean dishwasher or dish rack
- Tiny towel or napkin
- Small note
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Use clean dishes only
Wait until the dishwasher is clean and cool, or use a dish rack on the counter.
Step 2: Pose the helper
Set the elf beside the rack with a tiny towel as if they are drying plates.
Step 3: Add the note
Leave a message like "Clean plate crew reporting in."
Safety & Pro Tips:
- Do not put the elf inside a running dishwasher.
- Counter setups are easiest to keep safe.
- This pairs well with a chore chart.
