Fruit Sticker Collector: Produce Detective

Published on July 22, 2025
Someone started a sticker museum on the bananas. Your elf is the curator, peeling tiny produce labels like they are solving a very juicy case. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Use washed fruit, keep small stickers off the floor, and skip this if a toddler still puts stickers in their mouth.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A fruit bowl
- • A few produce stickers already on the fruit
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Choose the banana HQ
Set the fruit bowl where kids actually grab breakfast. The investigation should happen in the line of snack traffic.
Step 2: Peel one sticker halfway
Lift a produce sticker so it is half off the banana. It looks like the elf got interrupted mid-collect.
Step 3: Seat the detective
Sit the elf on a sturdy apple or on the bowl rim, sticker in hand. They should look extremely pleased with their evidence.
Step 4: Make a tiny sticker sheet
Stick two extra labels on a scrap of paper beside the bowl like a collection page. Kids will want to add every sticker in the house.
Pro Tips:
- • Do not put the elf on a rolling orange unless you like chasing them.
- • Wash fruit after so nobody eats adhesive with breakfast.
- • A sticky note that says “Exhibit A” is very funny.
- • Save real organic stickers; they peel cleaner for the pose.
