Windows make simple, bright elf scenes. Your elf can watch for snow, birds, delivery trucks, or holiday lights outside. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't,start with the setup kit.
You Will Need:
- Your holiday elf
- Optional: a tiny telescope if you want that scene already set. Household safety still applies.
- Window sill or nearby table
- Paper binoculars
- Small note
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Pick the safest window spot
Use a window sill, side table, or shelf near the window.
Step 2: Add lookout props
Make tiny binoculars from rolled paper or place a small note near the elf.
Step 3: Aim the scene outside
Pose the elf looking out the window as if they are watching the neighborhood.
Safety & Pro Tips:
- Avoid unstable blinds or cords.
- Morning light makes this setup look great in photos.
- Add paper snowflakes to the glass.
