- • A dish towel nest

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Make a soft nest
Fold a dish towel on the counter and set an empty carton on top. Keep the scene out of the fridge so the elf stays a toy, not a grocery. Wipe crumbs so the carton sits flat.
Step 2: Fill with fake eggs only
Tuck craft eggs or the carton’s own dummy eggs into a few cups. Leave two cups empty so the elf has a place to sit. Never use raw or boiled breakfast eggs for this gag.
