Freezer Popsicle Patrol: Frozen Treat Guard

The popsicle box hired security, and security is shivering on purpose. Your elf is on the freezer shelf like nobody is sneaking a treat before dinner. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Keep the elf on a shelf or the door, never buried in food, and shut the freezer promptly so nothing thaws and the doll does not get damp.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • The freezer
- • A box of popsicles or ice pops
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Clear a shelf edge
Slide the popsicle box forward so there is a dry perch. Do not wedge the elf between frozen peas; that is how felt gets weird.
Step 2: Seat the patrol
Sit the elf on the box or on the door shelf, arms crossed. They should look cold and extremely official.
Step 3: Take the photo fast
Open the door, snap the picture, shut it. The gag is the discovery in the morning when someone goes for ice, not an overnight freezer camp.
Step 4: Move them after the reveal
Once kids have seen it, bring the elf back to the counter. A damp elf is not a second-day scene.
Pro Tips:
- • A sticky note on the box that says “Ask first” is painfully accurate.
- • Do this right before breakfast so the door is opening anyway.
- • Skip ice cream tubs that will get fingerprints all over.
- • If the elf feels cold-damp, towel them off before the next pose.
