The tiny skyline globe sits right where it belongs, planted and unbothered, while the elf pretends they personally shook the weather. - • A sturdy shelf
- • A bookend or two books as a backstop
- • A small cloth to sit the globe on
- • Optional: NYC snow globe so the 2.5-inch skyline globe can stay planted on the shelf as the whole storm.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Plant the globe
Set the snow globe on a level shelf with books or a bookend behind it. Give it a cloth coaster so it does not slide. It stays there for the whole gag, no carrying it around the house.
Step 2: Settle the glitter
If you want falling snow in the morning photo, give one gentle swirl now and then leave it alone. Do not keep shaking it. A planted globe looks magical even when the glitter has settled.
Step 3: Station the weather elf
Sit your elf beside the globe with both hands on the base, as if they are holding the storm still. Do not rest the doll on top of the glass. Face the skyline toward the room.
Step 4: Keep it on the shelf
