Bathroom Scale Weigh: Official Check-In

Published on July 16, 2026
The North Pole started a wellness program, and your elf is taking it extremely seriously. A miniature scale on the bath mat plus a dramatic pose equals instant giggles before anyone argues about toothpaste. Keep the real scale free for actual feet. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Keep the real bathroom scale clear so nobody steps on the elf during the morning rush.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A bath mat
- • The real scale moved aside
- • A sticky note for a fake weight
- • Optional: tiny bathroom scale so the weigh-in can happen on a doll-size scale instead of the one people actually stand on.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Move the real scale
Slide the household scale out of the traffic path or leave it empty. Nobody should step on a doll while half awake. A bath mat becomes the gym floor.
Step 2: Set the tiny scale
Place the miniature scale in the center of the mat. Add a sticky note with a ridiculous number, like “2 candy canes.” Keep water off the prop.
Step 3: Strike the weigh-in pose
Stand your elf on the tiny scale with hands on hips. If the doll will not balance, sit them beside it pointing at the number. Face the scene toward the door.
Step 4: Leave a dry path
Do not stage this in a wet shower or on a slippery lid. After the photo, put the real scale back where feet expect it. Wipe the mat if anyone splashed.
Pro Tips:
- • Keep the real scale empty so morning feet do not find the elf the hard way.
- • A fake weight on a sticky note is funnier than a blank toy dial.
- • Bath mat, not the toilet lid.
- • Dry floor only; wet tile plus a doll is a slip waiting to happen.
