Comb Ski Slope: Bathroom Downhill Run

The bathroom opened a ski resort, and the slope is a comb. Your elf is halfway down, looking like they packed for the Alps and landed on the vanity instead. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Keep the comb dry and off the floor, and skip powder on wet tile so nobody slips.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A comb or hairbrush
- • A toothpaste tube or soap bottle as a jump
- • Optional: tiny skis and poles if you want the skier to have real gear.
- • Optional: tiny wooden sleigh if you want a ride waiting at the bottom of the run.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Build the slope
Lean a comb from the faucet toward the sink edge, or from a toothpaste tube down to the counter. Kids see a mountain the second the comb is not lying flat.
Step 2: Dust a hint of snow
If you want, tap a pinch of baking soda at the top only. Skip this on a wet counter; a dry slope is enough.
Step 3: Seat the skier
Straddle the elf on the comb with knees bent, arms back. Mid-run is funnier than standing at the bottom like they already finished.
Step 4: Plant a finish-line cotton ball
Set a cotton ball at the sink as a snowbank landing. Kids will argue whether the elf stuck the jump.

- • A wide-tooth comb is an easier ski run than a fine one.
- • Do this after bedtime brushing so the vanity is already cleared.
- • Keep real razors in the drawer; this is a kids’ scene.
