Leave the tub completely dry with no standing water, and use a tiny dab of leftover bubble bath foam or shaving foam so the elf is not sitting in a puddle.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Dry the tub first
Wipe the tub so there is no leftover bathwater. Parents sleep better, and the foam actually holds a shape instead of sliding into a sad puddle.
Step 2: Drop a foam island
Squirt a golf-ball puff of foam in the middle of the tub, not a mountain. Kids will think the elf spent all night making bubbles on purpose.
