This cozy setup brings a little adventure to the living room. Tissue paper flames and pretzel-stick logs create the campfire look without real heat. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't,start with the setup kit.
You Will Need:
- Your holiday elf
- Optional: a posable holiday elf that will hold the pose by the tissue-paper campfire.
- Red, orange, and yellow tissue paper
- Pretzel sticks or brown paper strips
- Small blanket
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Build pretend flames
Pinch tissue paper into flame shapes and place them in the center of the coffee table.
Step 2: Add logs
Arrange pretzel sticks or brown paper strips around the tissue flames.
Step 3: Seat the elf
Place the elf nearby with a small blanket as if they are warming up.
Safety & Pro Tips:
- Never use real candles or heat.
- Use paper logs if you do not want food props.
- Add mini marshmallows nearby for a camping feel.
