Dollhouse Guest: Tiny Holiday Visitor

The dollhouse has a houseguest who did not RSVP. Your elf is on the little couch like they live there now, and the dolls are going to need a family meeting. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Keep small dollhouse furniture off the floor, and skip this if a toddler still mouths tiny chairs.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A dollhouse or play kitchen
- • One piece of tiny furniture
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Pick the fanciest room
Use the living room or kitchen the kids play with most. A takeover of “the good sofa” is funnier than a dusty attic floor.
Step 2: Relocate one doll
Move a resident doll to the doorway, looking shocked. That witness is the whole joke.
Step 3: Seat the guest
Sit the elf in the tiny chair or on the bed with feet on the table if they do not fit politely. Bad houseguest energy is the point.
Step 4: Leave a “host gift”
Set a pom-pom or candy cane on the tiny table. Kids will decide immediately whether the gift makes up for the couch theft.
Pro Tips:
- • If the elf is too big, have them stuck in the doorway instead of sitting.
- • A sticky note on the roof that says “Vacancy: 0” is very funny.
- • Do not glue anything; kids still need the house tomorrow.
- • Photograph from doll-eye height so the elf looks huge.
