Highchair Helper: Breakfast Seat Inspector

The highchair hired an inspector who takes oatmeal personally. Your elf is in the tray like breakfast cannot start until they sign off. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Wipe crumbs first, never thread harness straps around the doll, and skip this if a baby still uses the chair unsupervised.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A wiped highchair
- • A baby spoon or sippy cup
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Wipe the tray
Clean yesterday’s breakfast so the elf is sitting on a tray, not in syrup. Cute and sticky cannot share a chair.
Step 2: Leave the straps alone
Do not buckle the elf in. Set them on the seat or tray with the harness clipped behind or beside, unused.
Step 3: Give them the spoon
Put a baby spoon in their hands like they are testing quality control. Kids (and tired parents) will recognize the job immediately.
Step 4: Park a sippy as backup
Stand a cup in the cup holder as the assistant. A two-person breakfast crew is what makes toddlers point and shout.

- • Do this after the baby is in bed so the chair is free.
- • A smear-free tray photographs better and is safer.
- • If older kids use the chair for crafts, clear crayons first.
- • Move the elf before the morning feed so you are not hunting a doll under oatmeal.
