Lunchbox Packing Crew: Lunch Packer
Author: Elfie Spot Finder. Time: about 2 minutes.
The lunchbox is already on the counter for tomorrow. Tonight the holiday elf is the packing crew. Two minutes, no knives, no new grocery run. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
No knives. Keep small snacks sealed. If a thermos still has hot soup, leave it in the sink, not in the scene.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • The lunchbox you already use
- • One sealed snack or a napkin
- • The counter or table
- • Optional: a sticky note that says "Packed it"
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Set the line
Open the lunchbox. Set one sealed snack and a napkin inside like a half-done pack. Leave the knife drawer closed.
Step 2: Pose the elf
Sit the posable elf on the counter beside the box, or on the inside of the lid if it is stable. One hand on the snack.
Step 3: Add the tiny details
A "Packed it" note on the lid is enough. If you have a second box, line them up as a crew. Keep juice boxes sealed.
Step 4: When kids find it
They find it at breakfast or at backpack time. Finish the real lunch after you move the elf.
Pro Tips:
- • Use tomorrow's actual box so you are not washing an extra one.
- • Skip grapes and nuts as loose "packing peanuts" if a toddler can reach.
- • A napkin crumpled as a pillow is plenty of gag.
- • If the box lives in a high cupboard, pack on the table. No chair.
