A pillow fort makes the elf feel like they created their own tiny hideout. This works in a bedroom, playroom, or living room. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't,start with the setup kit.
You Will Need:
- Your holiday elf
- Optional: a tiny white sofa if you want that scene already set. Household safety still applies.
- Pillows or couch cushions
- Small blanket
- Flashlight or paper sign
- Optional: tiny throw pillows if you want the elf's own fort inside the big one.
- Optional: tiny fluffy rug if you want a soft floor inside the fort.
- Optional: tiny welcome mat if you want something at the fort door.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Build a small fort
Lean pillows together and drape a small blanket over them to create an opening.
Step 2: Place the elf inside
Set the elf just inside the opening so kids can see the face right away.
Step 3: Add fort details
Use a small flashlight, book, or sign that says "Elf hideout."
