Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Plush Pajama Party

The stuffed animals invited your elf to a pajama party, and nobody was going to sleep. Circle three plush friends on the bed, add a blanket fort corner, and sit the elf in the middle like they brought the playlist. It is a two-minute bedtime scene that makes kids check the bed before they climb in. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Use a spare blanket on top of the made bed, keep small parts off toddler beds, and do not cover a sleeping child’s face with extra pillows.
You Will Need This:

- • Two or three stuffed animals
- • A small blanket or pillow
- • A nightstand “snack” plate
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Invite the plush guests
Pick two or three stuffed animals from the bed or toy shelf and sit them in a circle. Use the kid’s favorites so the party feels personal. Keep the circle on top of the comforter, not under it.
Step 2: Add sleepover props
Drape a small blanket over two stuffed animals as a fort. Set a bottle cap or small plate on the nightstand as snacks, empty or with wrapped treats only. A picture book can be the midnight movie.
Step 3: Seat the guest of honor
Sit your elf in the circle with one stuffed animal’s arm around them, or lean them against a pillow like they told a long story. Face the bedroom door. Leave space so the kid can still get into bed.
Step 4: Leave a house-rules note
Write “Lights out after one more story.” on a sticky note and stick it to the headboard. In the morning, let kids “wake” the party, then put extra blankets back so the bed is sleepable. Skip crumb snacks on the bedspread.

- • A mini flashlight (off) on the nightstand sells the sleepover.
- • Do this on a Friday night so nobody is mad about a messy bed on a school morning.
