Teddy Bear Clinic: Bedroom Checkup

Published on October 1, 2026
The bedroom opened a clinic for one patient. Your elf is taking it very seriously, and the teddy bear already has a bandage. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Use a real bandage only on the toy, not on anything a toddler will chew. Cotton stays on the bed.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • A teddy bear or stuffed animal
- • One adhesive bandage
- • A cotton ball
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Admit the patient
Lay the teddy on the bed, on a pillow, face up. This is the exam table.
Step 2: Apply one fix
Stick one bandage on a paw or an ear. Set a cotton ball in the elf’s hand like a checkup puff.
Step 3: Scrub in the doctor
Sit the elf beside the bear, leaning over the bandaged paw, one hand on the cotton, the other hand on the bear’s arm. Face kind and serious. The elf is doing the checkup.
Step 4: Send them home
A sticky note on the pillow that says “All better.” The bear can stay. The bandage comes off the toy before it goes in the wash.
Pro Tips:
- • One bandage is a clinic. A whole box is a costume drawer.
- • The elf has to touch the bear or they look like roommates.
- • A small bear is an easier patient than a huge one.
- • Do the scene on the bed the child will actually see in the morning.

Desk Secret Santa
Your elf ran a Secret Santa at the desk and picked the stapler as the lucky recipient. Use generic tiny boxes, not official doll packaging.

Stocking Stuffer
Your elf is filling stockings with care! This heartwarming scene shows your elf preparing for Christmas morning.

Plant Humidity Tent
Your elf pitched a tiny humidity tent over an indoor plant with a splash in the saucer. It is plant-parent comedy, not a camping trip, and water stays far from outlets.
