The entryway is a great elf hiding spot because everyone passes it. This setup uses shoes already by the door and makes the elf feel like the tiny parade leader. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't,start with the setup kit.
You Will Need:
- Your holiday elf
- Optional: a posable holiday elf that will hold the pose as parade leader by the door shoes.
- Several pairs of shoes
- Ribbon, bells, or paper flags
- Small sign
- Optional: tiny brass instruments if you want the marching band to have a horn section.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Line up the shoes
Arrange family shoes in a row or curve like a parade route near the door.
Step 2: Place the elf in front
Sit the elf in the first shoe or pose them standing at the front of the line.
Step 3: Add parade details
Use ribbon, bells, or small paper flags to make the shoe line feel intentional.
