Sit the posable elf on the counter next to the toaster, facing the slots like they are in a bread line. One arm can rest on the plate. Do not perch them on the toaster body.

Step 3: Add the tiny details

If you have a second slice, lean it like the next customer. A "Waiting" note on the plate is enough. Leave the lever down only if the toaster is cold and unplugged.

Step 4: When kids find it
