A stuffed animal got stuck on a cliff, which is a tissue box. Your elf showed up with kitchen tongs and is not letting go. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.
Use tongs with a lock or rest them so they cannot snap shut on fingers. Keep the scene off the stove.
You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • Kitchen tongs
- • A small stuffed animal
- • A tissue box
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Build the cliff
Stand a tissue box on the kitchen counter. Sit the stuffed animal on top, one paw hanging off like they need help.
Step 2: Open the rescue tool
Clip the tongs gently around that hanging paw or around the animal’s middle. If the tongs slip, pinch a scarf on the animal and grip the scarf.
Step 3: Pose the rescuer
Stand the elf beside the box, both hands on the tong handles, leaning in, face serious. They should look like the only firefighter on duty.
Step 4: Call it a save
A sticky note on the box that says “I got you!” In the morning the stuffed animal can go back to bed. The elf already did the brave part.
Pro Tips:
- • A small animal works. A huge bear makes the tongs look silly in the wrong way.
- • Both elf hands have to be on the tongs or it looks like the tongs are just lying there.
- • A tissue pulled halfway out looks like a rope.
- • Put the tongs back in the drawer before anyone cooks.
