Keep the glass empty or nearly empty, scoot every charger away, and the first person reaching for their phone will laugh instead of shorting a cable. Keep chargers and devices far from the glass, and use only a splash of water or none at all.

- • A sturdy water glass, empty or with a splash
- • Phone chargers moved to another surface
- • Optional: posable boy elf if you want a posable attendant who can sit beside the glass without knocking it toward a charger.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Move the chargers
Unplug or relocate every cable on that nightstand. Water plus charging bricks is a hard no. If the only outlet is there, pick a dresser across the room for this gag.
Step 2: Set a splash or empty glass
Use a sturdy glass, not a tippy stem. Empty is safest; a splash is plenty of “water.” Do not fill it like a real bedtime drink.
Step 3: Station the attendant
Sit your elf beside the glass, not on the rim. A tiny straw or a sticky-note “sip log” sells the duty. Keep the doll’s weight off the glass so it cannot tip.
