You Will Need This:

- • The remotes that already live on the coffee table
- • The coffee table
- • Optional: a coaster as a "nest floor"
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Set the scene
Push magazines aside. Pile three or four remotes in a loose ring on a coaster or a book. Battery doors stay closed.
Step 2: Pose the elf
Sit the posable elf in the middle of the ring, like the remotes are a nest. Legs can drape over one remote. Do not stand them on the TV.
Step 3: Add the tiny details
Tuck one remote under an arm like a pillow. Leave the TV off. This is a coffee-table nest, not a film night.
Step 4: When kids find it
They see it when they walk into the living room. Put the remotes back in a usable stack after breakfast so nobody hunts for the power button.
