The coffee table already collects snacks. Tonight it is a concession stand, not a film. The TV can stay off. The holiday elf is working the snack bar. The mini popcorn bowl is optional if you want a tiny serving dish in the middle. If you already have a posable holiday elf, skip to the recipe. If you don't, start with the setup kit.

No whole nuts, hard candy, or popcorn kernels as a crowd if a toddler can reach the table. Keep drinks sealed. The TV stays off; this is not a movie night.

You Will Need This:

Your holiday elf
The coffee table
Two snack bags or sealed cups you already have (pretzels or crackers)
Optional: a sticky note that says "Window 1"

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Set the stand

Clear a rectangle of coffee table. Set two sealed snacks as the menu. Leave remotes in a side stack so this does not become a clicker nest or a movie setup.

Step 2: Pose the elf

Sit the posable elf behind the snacks, facing the room, like they are taking orders. The TV stays off and out of the joke.

Step 3: Add the tiny details

If you use the mini popcorn bowl, set it as the serving dish with a few pretzels or crackers, not as a movie-night tub. A "Window 1" note on the table edge is enough.

Step 4: When kids find it

They find it when they walk into the living room. Put snacks back in the kitchen after the photo if you do not want an all-day graze.

Pro Tips:

• Sealed bags only if ants or toddlers are in play.
• This is a snack bar. Do not queue a movie, dim the lights, or build a pillow theater.
• Three items read as a stand. Ten items read as you gave up cleaning.
