You Will Need This:
- • Your holiday elf
- • An indoor succulent
- • An empty watering can or mug
- • A saucer under the pot
- • Optional: mini watering can so the sip shift can use an empty doll-size can that matches the succulent’s scale.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Stay inside
Choose a succulent already living on a table or sill. Do not take the gag to the yard, garage, or porch in the dark. Indoor plant, indoor elf.
Step 2: Empty the can
If you grab a real watering can, dump it first. An empty mug tipped toward the soil works too. You are posing a sip, not watering on a schedule.
Step 3: Make the rounds
Stand your elf beside the pot with the empty can. One drop in the saucer is optional and should stay in the saucer. Keep cords off that table.
Step 4: Do not overwater the bit
Succulents hate heroic overnight soaking. In the morning, kids can “finish the job” with you measuring an actual sip if the plant is due. Wipe the table and put the can away.
